PWAC April Monthly Meeting
April 23 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
PWAC’s April meeting will be Wednesday, April 23, from 7;30 to 9:00 PM in the conference room at the Grand Canyon Regional Airport. PWAC member Keith Thorne (now retired from CalTech) will explain what gravitational waves are, how they can be detected from black holes, neutron stars smashing together, and how LIGO has ushered in a whole new era of astrophysical observation.
